Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered device consisting of a maroon oval enclosed in a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border displaying a white greyhound dog detailed silver gray leaping over a maroon and white checkered chevron enclosed in a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) gray border and a maroon designation band inscribed "PLEASANTVILLE" in white letters edged with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) white border. The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height and 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width.

Symbolism
The school colors are maroon and white. The school mascot is the greyhound dog and represents courage, loyalty, vigilance, and the Cadets' fierce winning spirit. The checkered chevron symbolizes protection, dignity, and honor.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Checky Argent and Sanguine, a chevron of the first; on a chief of the second, a greyhound dog courant Silver Gray. Attached below the shield, a Maroon scroll inscribed "GREYHOUNDS" in base metal letters.
