Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield-shaped embroidered device blazoned as follows: Argent, a bend sinister Vert; overall an eagle volant bend sinisterwise Or, head and tail of the first, within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Green border. Attached above the shield, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Green border inscribed "WINSLOW" in green letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Green and white are the school colors. The soaring eagle is the school mascot, reflecting the Winslow Township High School cadets' high spirit

The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 21 August 2007.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall blazoned as follows: Vert, on a lozenge in point Gris, an eagle volant bend sinisterwise Or. Attached below the shield a Green scroll inscribed "SOARING TO SUCCESS" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Green and white are the school colors. The soaring eagle is the school mascot, reflecting the Winslow Township High School cadets' high spirit. The lozenge/diamond-shape signifies courageous spirit; combined with the eagle suggests the school's motto and courageous spirit of the cadets' "soaring to success."

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 30 October 2007.
