Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered device 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height by 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width shaped like a shield and blazoned: "Or an ancient Trojan helmet reversed Vert, all within a diminished bordure of the like". Attached above the shield, a Gold scroll inscribed "BANDYS" in Green letters, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) narrow Green border.

Symbolism
Green and gold are the school colors. The Trojan Warrior is the school's mascot, and describes a determined attitude, in the cadets' outlook toward performance and achievement. The shield signifies a guarding of the traditions of the school and community.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 8 April 2004.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height, consisting of a green scroll inscribed "BANDYS H.S. TROJANS" in gold letters delineating an oval shape. Issuing from the left side of the scroll and extending above the oval is a gold brown Trojan Warrior armed with a sword and a circular shield, the back side showing green also.
