Description/Blazon
On a maroon disc 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border, a white horse's head outlined and detailed black within the inscription "OWEN" above and "WARHORSES" below in white letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia authorized 9 January 1985 was amended to add subdued colors and metric dimensions 31 August 1989. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-153)
