Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered shield shaped device with rounded base blazoned: Per bend sinister Sable and Or, bordure of the second, issuant from dexter chief a snarling Jaguar head to sinister with dexter shoulder and claws palewise of the like, detailed of the first, in sinister base four mullets arched from sinister to dexter base of the like, garnished Argent (Silver Gray), all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border. The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Black and gold are the school colors. The Jaguar is the school mascot.

Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per bend sinister Sable and Or, bordure of the second, issuant from chief dexter a snarling Jaguar head to sinister with dexter shoulder and claws palewise of the like, in sinister base four mullets arched from sinister to dexter base of the first. Attached below the shield, a Black scroll inscribed "SCIENTIA CIVITAS DUCATUS" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Black and gold are the school colors. The Jaguar is the school mascot.

Background
