Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a shield shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, blazoned as follows: Pily-paly Gules and Argent. Attached above the shield, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border inscribed J. F. WEBB in black. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 7/8 inches (7.30 cm) in width.


Symbolism

The two piles dividing the background resemble the shape of the letter W to allude to the schools name of J. F. Webb.


Background

The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized on 24 January 2018. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-609)

Description

On a Scarlet arrow-shaped silver metal and epoxied device 1 1/8 inch (2.86 cm) in height bearing a vertical White stripe, jagged on each side and throughout the device. Attached to each side and the base of the device, a black semi-circular scroll inscribed J. F. WEBB WARRIORS in Silver.


Symbolism

The arrow head shape of the shield is emblematic of the schools mascot, the Warrior. The pale portrays a pillar to personify the cadets as pillars of the community. The indented edges of the pale denotes the multi-faceted training and education of the JROTC program. Black, white, and red are the school colors.   


Background

The shoulder loop insignia was authorized on 24 January 2018.
