Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A silver gray shield arched at top bearing the red bust of a Native American in profile detailed gray, issuing from base. Attached above the shield, a red arched scroll inscribed "WARRIORS" in gray letters; all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border. The overall dimensions are 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) in height by 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Red and gray are the school's colors. The Native American warrior is the school mascot.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 25 February 1992. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-240)




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height consisting of a silver arced shield, the top edge engrailed, bearing a silver stylized peace pipe edged red below three arching engrailed gray bands charged with a silver disc bearing the red head of a Native American warrior. Arcing over the base of the shield, a red scroll turned silver and inscribed "WARRIORS" in silver letters.

Symbolism
Red and gray are the school colors. The Iroquois warrior suggests the location of the school and reflects the school mascot. The gray waves refer to Lake Erie and denote the school's location. The peace pipe is emblematic of cadet training for the defense of peace.

The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 25 February 1992.
