Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A black disk edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border and inscribed "ANTILLES HIGH SCHOOL" above "PIRATES" below in yellow letters overall and between the inscriptions a white demi-pirate affront in perspective detailed black grasping a white cutlass forward in both hands fesswise. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 3/4 inches (9.53 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Black and gold are the school colors. The pirate is the school mascot and represents boldness. The cutlass promotes the idea of education providing the cutting edge advantage to the future. The circular shape of the insignia symbolizes the unity of the battalion and its service to school and community.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 12 January 2000.
