Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
A dark blue circular insignia edged with a 1/8 inch yellow border, the overall diameter 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm), on which is centered a white open book detailed and edged yellow surmounted by a sabre with blade to base and a quill in saltire all yellow, the entire edged with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) yellow border, encircled by a dark blue band inscribed "ANTILLES" along the top and "MILITARY ACADEMY" in base in yellow letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 2 March 1978.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A gold color metal and enamel insignia 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall consisting of a white enamel shield on which is a white enamel open book above a gold sabre with blade to base and a gold quill in saltire. Attached above the shield a white enamel scroll inscribed "AMA" in gold letters. Attached below the shield a three segmented arced white enamel scroll inscribed "PUERTO" on the dexter segment and "RICO" on the sinister segment in gold letters.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 2 March 1978.
