Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a yellow trapezoid arched at top, narrow side down, and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) orange border, a demi-Bengal Tiger Proper issuant from left between, with the inscription "ALLENDALE-FAIRFAX" arcing at top and "TIGERS" in base in black letters. The overall dimensions are 2 7/8 inches (7.30 cm) in height and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in width.

Symbolism
The tiger is the school mascot and reflects the strength and determination of the cadets to succeed in their goals.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 19 November 1993.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a gold color metal and enamel shield 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height and arched at the top a black diagonal tiger stripe pattern from upper right to lower left and thereon a red lamp enflamed. Attached above the shield a black scroll inscribed "ALLENDALE-FAIRFAX" in gold letters.

Symbolism
The gold metal and black stripes suggest a tiger and represent the school's mascot. The red lamp of knowledge denotes the academic curriculum of the cadets and the dedication of school staff.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 19 November 1993.
