On a Dark blue circular embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Gold border, a white stalking Bengal Tiger facing front, black stripes and details, with gold eyes and tongue, below five arched gold stars.  Attached below the disc, a dark blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gold border inscribed BLYTHEWOOD in gold letters.  The overall dimensions 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 15/16 inches (10.00 cm) in width.  

The school colors are blue, gold and white.  The Bengal Tiger is the schools mascot.  The five stars represent the five branches of the military.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized on 8 November 2007, it was amended to update the manufacturing drawings and to add the ACU color conversions on 25 September 2018. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-828)

On a shield shaped silver metal and epoxied device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Per fess Azure and Argent (Silver), in chief a bend of the second between a flame of the second and Gules and a wreath of the second, in base a Bengal posed for attack affronte of the second, detailed and fimbriated Sable. Attached above the shield, a Black scroll inscribed BLYTHEWOOD and at the base Black scroll inscribed BENGALS all in Silver.

The Bengal Tiger is the schools mascot, representing the cadets fierce commitment to the school and community. The bend suggests a roadway, alluding to the Blythewood Road which is the main thoroughfare of Blythewood, South Carolina, the location of the high school. The flame conveys the cadets eternal pursuit of academic endeavors and military training. The wreath of laurel denote achievement and skill required of future leaders.

The shoulder loop insignia (SLI) was authorized 25 September 2018.
