Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a scarlet oval with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border, 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in width, overall inscribed in white letters "CALHOUN COUNTY" arcing at top and "SAINTS" arcing to base; a white inner oval bearing a scarlet demi-fleur-de-lis above a white winged open book, cover scarlet and pages white, surmounted by a scarlet quill.

Symbolism
Scarlet and white are the school's colors. The fleur-de-lis reflects the school's nickname. The book and quill allude to scholastics and the wings to athletics.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 27 February 1989. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-126)
