Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a blue vertical rectangular embroidered device, arched convexly at top and bottom, a yellow roaring bear head affront, detailed black, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border. Attached above, a yellow scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border inscribed "LANCASTER" in blue letters. Attached below, a yellow scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border inscribed "BRUINS" in blue letters. The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height and 2 inches (5.08 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Blue and gold are the school colors. The Bruin, a brown bear, is the school mascot.

A Gold color metal and enamel shield shaped device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall blazoned: Azure, a roaring bear affront Or and of the first. Attached above the device, a Gold color metal scroll inscribed "LHS" in Blue letters. Attached below the device, a Blue scroll inscribed "READY TO LEAD" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
