Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered shield shaped device with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border, blazoned: Sable, a cardinal bird's head couped Proper. Attached above the shield, a Black scroll edged with 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border inscribed "LANDRUM" in Yellow letters, the area between shield and scroll White. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Red, black, and white are the school colors. The Cardinal is the school mascot.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 5 March 2009. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-879)

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall blazoned: Gules, a bendlet Sable, over a bend, in sinister chief a lamp of knowledge, in dexter base a winged foot Argent. Resting upon the top of the shield, a cardinal bird head couped to left and flanking the shield a pair of wings displayed. Attached below the shield, a Black scroll inscribed "CARDINALS" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Red, black, and white are the school colors. The Cardinal is the school mascot.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 5 March 2009.
