Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered device consisting of a blue vertical rectangle arched convexly at the top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gold border with the head of an eagle in white with gold beak and eye with grey and blue outlines and shadows. Attached above the rectangle, a blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gold border inscribed "SCOTT'S" in white letters. Attached below the rectangle, a blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gold border inscribed "BRANCH" in white letters. Overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in height.

Symbolism
The school colors are royal blue and gold. The mascot is the American Bald Eagle and symbolizes courage, wisdom, perseverance and the cadets' fierce winning spirit.

Background
