Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An oval shaped khaki embroidered device charged with a red Raptor detailed black, eyed yellow, clutching in its talons, a lightning bolt split between the two, to the left black and to the right red and inscribed on a black scroll in red letters "RAVENWOOD" at top and "HIGH SCHOOL" at bottom, all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) khaki border. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Red, black, and khaki are the school colors. The school's mascot is the Raptor.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a council shield blazoned: Quarterly Gules and Sable, a Raptor of the last overall perched upon a lightning bolt fesswise its dexter side of the second and sinister side of the first, in the first quarter charged with a hurt bearing three mullets Or. Attached above the shield, a Black scroll inscribed "RAVENWOOD" in base metal letters. Attached below the shield, a Black scroll inscribed "RAPTORS" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Red, black, and khaki are the school colors. The Raptor represents keen vision, strength, and precision. The lightning bolt split in two symbolizes the quickness and quality needed to succeed in life. The three stars charged upon the circle signify the school's home state, Tennessee.
