On a yellow embroidered rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border, a red hawk's head erased and in profile with yellow chest feathers and beak; pupil, nostril, and detail of mouth black; eyed white, langued and detail feathers of chest red. Attached above the rectangle, a yellow scroll inscribed "ROSSVIEW" and attached below the rectangle, a yellow scroll inscribed "HAWKS" in red letters, both edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width.
Red and gold are the school's colors. The hawk is the school mascot and the hawk's head represents the cadets' wisdom and winning spirit. The tips of the four yellow feathers represent the four LET levels.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 21 August 2007.
