Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a gray vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) maroon border, a stylized buffalo facing the observer in maroon. The right half of the face is gray, with gray ears, nose and left eye.  Attached above the rectangle, a gray scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) maroon border inscribed "STATION" in maroon letters.  Attached below the rectangle, a gray scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) maroon border inscribed "CAMP H.S." in maroon letters.  Overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width. 

Symbolism
The school colors are maroon and gray.  The buffalo is the schools mascot and symbolizes bravery, valor, vigilance, strength and fortitude. 

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 06 August 2010.  (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-919)

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Argent, per fess three pales in base Sanguine, in chief a stylized buffalo statant of the last. Attached below the shield, a Maroon scroll inscribed "CIVITAS ATIS" in Silver letters.

Symbolism
Maroon and gray are the school's colors. The buffalo is the school's mascot and symbolizes bravery, valor, vigilance, strength and fortitude. The three maroon and four gray vertical areas represent scholarly achievement and knowledge. The Latin motto "CIVITAS ATIS" translates to "CITIZENSHIP" in English.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 28 January 2008.
