Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a white disc 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in diameter edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border a brown bucking mule supporting a blue blanket trimmed yellow below the inscription "ALAMO HEIGHTS" arcing above in blue letters.
Blue and gold (yellow) are the school colors. The mule is the school mascot.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 27 August 1996.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a blue "mushroom" shape bearing a white star surmounted by a gold arched scroll inscribed "MULES" in blue letters all between the inscription "ALAMO" arcing at top and "HEIGHTS" arcing in base in gold letters.
Blue and gold are the school colors. The white star on a blue field alludes to the Texas state flag and reflects the school's home area.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 2 November 1995.
