Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a blue rectangle arched at the top with a 1/8 yellow border, a white star bearing a black bulldog head affront detailed white with a red tongue. Attached above the rectangle a blue scroll with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border and inscribed "CCHS" in yellow letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height. The overall dimensions are 3 7/16 inches (8.73 cm) in height by 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width.

Symbolism
The school colors are blue and gold (yellow). The bulldog is the school mascot. The white star represents Texas, the home state of the high school, and also suggests the five hills indigenous to the Copperas area that reflect its name. The yellow letters also allude to the sun shining above Texas and the excellence of the students at Copperas Cove High School.
