Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A shield-shaped embroidered device 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in height by 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) wide arched at the top and blazoned: "Party per pale Argent and Gules, a jaguar's head couped Or, fimbriated and detailed Azure, on a chief of the like a mullet of the first environed by a wreath of the third. All within a diminished bordure of the fourth."

Symbolism
Red and white are the school colors. The shield is made up of the State and National colors. The star represents excellence in both academic and military pursuits, and the "Lone Star" State. The wreath signifies education, which supports the star. The jaguar is the school mascot and describes the cadets' fierce commitment to the unit, the student body, the school and the community.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a silver base metal device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) high, on a red background a white star encircled by a wreath with a jaguar's head to chief filled with transparent gold brown. The area below the star and between the wreath and scroll filled with white. The scroll is blue and in base metal letters the motto "JUSTITIA HONESTAS."
