Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a white vertical rectangular embroidered device 3 1/2 (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width, arched convexly at top and bottom, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border, an Eagle of the same displayed, tail feathers, crown and talons of the first. Attached above, a white scroll edged with 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border inscribed "ELLISON" in green letters. Attached below, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 (.32 cm) green border inscribed "EAGLES" in green letters.

Symbolism
Green and Yellow are the school's colors. The Eagle is the school's mascot.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 21 April 2006.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a Gold colored shield shaped device enameled White and Green 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall blazoned: Per bend sinister Argent and Vert, a bend sinister Or between in dexter an Eagle stooping, head of the first bodied of the second and to sinister, bend wise sinister, above a Trojan helmet of the last detailed and outlined of the third an open book surmounted by a quill pen Yellow. Attached below a Green scroll inscribed "PERVENITE ENIM LAURUM" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Green and white are the schools colors. The Eagle is the schools mascot; the Trojan helmet represents the significance and impact of the cadets' beliefs. The book of knowledge symbolizes education and academics.
