Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a white, scalloped-shape embroidered device, 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in diameter with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) navy blue border, consisting of an orange ball of fire superimposed with a white fireman's helmet with navy blue details facing diagonally to the right. All between the words "ECONOMEDES" in orange block letters arching in the upper left and "HIGH SCHOOL" in orange block letters arching in the lower right.

Symbolism
Navy blue and orange are the school colors. The fireman's helmet is in recognition of the school's namesake.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 31 January 2003.
