Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a horizontal rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom; quartered white and maroon and edged with a 1/8 (.32 cm) black border: an oil derrick countercharged of the field. Attached above the rectangle a gray scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border and inscribed "PEARLAND" in black letters. Attached below a gray scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border and inscribed "HIGH SCHOOL" in black letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.
Maroon and white are the school colors. The oil derrick is the school symbol and reflects the cadets' dedication to school, community and country.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 28 October 1996.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per bend Sanguine and Sable an oil derrick issuant from dexter base bendwise sinister in perspective, Argent. Attached below the shield a Maroon scroll turned Black inscribed "PEARLAND" in Silver letters.
Maroon and white are the school colors. The black color symbolizes oil one of the major industries of Pearland, Texas and the oil derrick is the chosen school symbol.
The shoulder loop was approved on 2 February 1998.
