Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A vertical rectangular shaped embroidered device with an arched top and bottom 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border displaying a red and white diagonally divided background with the head of a Red Ant. The ant has black eyes, antennae and detailing and the highlights of the eyes are white. Attached above the device, a black scroll inscribed "PROGRESO" in white letters and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border. Attached below the device, a black scroll inscribed "RED ANTS" in white letters and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border.

Symbolism
Red, white and black are the school's colors. The Red Ant is the school's mascot.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 2 March 2005.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Argent, the stylized head of an ant couped Gules detailed Sable. Attached below the shield, a Black scroll inscribed "RED ANTS" in Silver letters.

Symbolism
Red, white and black are the school's colors. The Red Ant is the school's mascot and represents hard work, strength, courage, integrity and productivity.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was approved 2 March 2005.
