A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.68 cm) in height overall, consisting of a shield blazoned: "Per bend Purpure and Argent, a Trojan Warrior head and shoulders in Silver metal." Attached below, conforming to the shape of the shield, a Purple scroll, bisected at the center, inscribed "MOTIVATE" "EDUCATE" in Silver letters. At each end of the scroll, a fold also Purple inscribed with the numerals "20" on the left and "02" on the right in base metal.
Purple and white are the school's colors. The Trojan is the school's mascot. "Motivate" and "Educate" represents the cadets' support of the mission of the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (To Motivate Young Adults to be Better Citizens). The school's motto is "ONCE A TROJAN, ALWAYS A TROJAN."
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 16 February 2006.
