Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A rectangular shaped embroidered device, arched convexly at top and bottom blazoned: "Purpure, a pile Argent, thereon, the head and shoulders of a Trojan Warrior detailed of the field." Attached above the rectangle, a Purple scroll inscribed "UNIVERSITY HS" in White letters. Attached below the rectangle, a Purple scroll inscribed "TROJANS" in White letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 5/8 inches (6.97 cm) in width, all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) bordure White.

Symbolism
Purple and white are the school's colors. The Trojan is the school's mascot and represents strength, loyalty and devotion. The school's motto is "ONCE A TROJAN, ALWAYS A TROJAN."

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 16 February 2006.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.68 cm) in height overall, consisting of a shield blazoned: "Per bend Purpure and Argent, a Trojan Warrior head and shoulders in Silver metal." Attached below, conforming to the shape of the shield, a Purple scroll, bisected at the center, inscribed "MOTIVATE" "EDUCATE" in Silver letters. At each end of the scroll, a fold also Purple inscribed with the numerals "20" on the left and "02" on the right in base metal.

Symbolism
Purple and white are the school's colors. The Trojan is the school's mascot. "Motivate" and "Educate" represents the cadets' support of the mission of the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (To Motivate Young Adults to be Better Citizens). The school's motto is "ONCE A TROJAN, ALWAYS A TROJAN."
