Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A circular device 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall consisting of an inner green disc on which is a black silhouette of an architectural structure issuing from base, garnished yellow. Around the green disc a white band edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border, the band inscribed "BENEDICTINE" at top and "MILITARY INSTITUTE" in base in green letters 1/4 inch (.64 cm) in height, the top and bottom inscriptions separated by a green cross on each side.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 29 April 1970.
