Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A shield shaped embroidered device with horizontal scroll attached above and arced scroll attached below 3 3/8 inches (8.57 cm) in height and 2 13/16 inches (7.14 cm) in width overall, the shield divided per quarter green and yellow, overall a brown bear's head affront couped, detailed and outlined black, with yellow interior of mouth and pupils, all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border. Above the shield a green horizontal scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border and inscribed "BETHEL" in yellow letters 5/16 inch (2.38 cm) in height. Below the shield a green arced scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border and inscribed "HIGH SCHOOL" in yellow letters 5/16 inch (2.38 cm) in height.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 31 March 1971.
