Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered device consisting of a white circular shape enclosed in a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) blue edge displaying the profile head of an eagle in white, with blue details, orange beak and eye, and white tongue. Enclosing that, an orange designation band inscribed "GRAHAM-KAPOWSIN" above and "HIGH SCHOOL" below in blue block letters. The entire device is edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border. Overall dimension is 3 1/2 inch (8.89 cm) in diameter.

Symbolism
Blue and orange are the school's colors. The American Bald Eagle is the school's mascot and represents the cadets' noble nature, great strength, bravery, and high spirit. The school's motto is Honor, Integrity, Respect.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 2 March 2007.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Tenn, the head of a Bald Eagle facing sinister Argent. On either side of the shield a torch flamant of the like. Below the shield and folded around the torches a Blue scroll inscribed "HONOR INTEGRITY RESPECT" in Silver letters.

Symbolism
