Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a blue rectangle arced at top and bottom a yellow bendelet between a yellow cougar's head above and a yellow demi-torch below; and attached above, a blue scroll inscribed "ANSBACH" and attached below a blue scroll inscribed "COUGARS" all in yellow letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height and all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border, the overall dimensions 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width.
Blue and gold (yellow) are the school colors. The cougar is the school mascot and the torch symbolizes leadership and knowledge.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 3 May 1985.
