On a rectangular shaped embroidered device arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border blazoned as follows: Argent, an eagle Volant Tenn detailed Gold Brown, grasping in its talons a torch bendwise Or, inflamed and fimbriated of the second, in chief a mullet of the fourth. Attached above, a White scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border inscribed "SOUTH COBB" in Blue letters. Attached below, a White scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border inscribed "HIGH SCHOOL" in Blue letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width.
Blue, orange and white are the school colors. The torch symbolizes knowledge and the ability to see in a constantly changing environment. The eagle is the school's mascot. The eagle signifies the power of the flight and vision. The star signifies core values and leadership.
