Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a light blue vertical oval embroidered device a gray wolf's head affront, detailed dark blue encircled by a dark blue designation band inscribed "SPRING VALLEY" above and "HIGH SCHOOL" below in white letters within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width.

Symbolism
The school colors are Navy blue and Carolina blue. The school's mascot is a timber wolf and symbolizes perseverance, fierceness, great, strength, swiftness and power.  The oval shape of the patch alludes to the moon.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Azure, in dexter a full moon Celeste surmounted by a howling wolf Argent (Silver Gray).  Attached below the shield, a Blue triparted scroll inscribed "ACCEPT" to the dexter, "THE" in the center, and "CHALLENGE" to the sinister, all in Silver letters.
