Description/Blazon
On a shield shaped embroidered device edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border blazoned:  On a Silver Gray and Argent background a pine cone bendwise Azure detailed of the second. Attached below the shield a White scroll, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border inscribed "LAKEWOOD HS" in Blue letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Blue and white are the school colors.  The Pinecone serves as the school's symbol and signifies the regional pride and community commitment of the students and staff.  The rays of the divided background symbolize the pursuit of the excellence in academics, physical fitness and all endeavors.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 4 February 2010. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-897)

Description

On a shield shaped silver metal and epoxied device 1 5/32 inches (2.94 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Per bend sinister arched Argent (Silver) and Argent, a pine cone bendwise Azure and throughout, detailed of the first, emitting two rays in dexter base and seven rays in sinister all of the third. Attached below the shield, a Blue scroll inscribed LAKEWOOD in Silver.
