Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered device consisting of a oval shape, edged with a 3/32 inch (.24 cm) black inner border and a green 1/16 inch (.16 cm) outer border displaying a hornet with a green body, head, legs and antenna with three wide black bands around the body, black eyes with white highlights and gray wings all within a narrow black outline. Below the hornet is a White rectangular designation band edged with 1/16 inch (.16 cm) inner border inscribed "ENOSBURG" in black letters.  The entire device is edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border.  The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height and 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Green and white are the school colors.  The hornet is the school's mascot and symbolizes swiftness, power and ferocity.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Sable, between a pallet a Knight chess piece facing sinister and an open book Argent (Silver Gray); in chief a mountain range Vert, superimposed by a barn of the second; a bordure of the third.  Attached below the shield a Green scroll inscribed "LEADERSHIP AND KNOWLEDGE" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Green and white are the school colors.  The book represents scholarly achievement and knowledge.  The Knight chess piece is the only one with the ability to jump over the pieces and is symbolic of leadership and the cadets' ability to navigating obstacles in order to accomplish their goals.  The Knight chess piece moves in the shape of the letter "L" which further symbolizes leadership.  The farm, barn and mountains are representative of the rural Enosburg Falls area where the school is located.
