Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a green rectangle 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) in height and 2 15/16 inches (7.46 cm) in width, a yellow and white yellow jacket detailed black.

Symbolism
Yellow (gold) and white are the school colors.  The yellow jacket is the school's mascot.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized on 3 July 1968.   It was amended to include a symbolism and subdued colors on 26 August 1986.  (TIOH Drawing Number A-10S-195)




Distinctive Unit Insignia


Description/Blazon
A gold color metal device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a gold color metal shield bearing a white gear wheel surmounted by the red flame of a gray demi-torch.  Attached below the shield a three segmented gold color scroll inscribed "PROGRESS" on the dexter segment, "AND" on the center segment   and "SERVICE" on the sinister segment in red letters.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized on 18 December 1973.
