Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield shaped embroidered device arched at top edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Gold border blazoned as follows:  Sable, a ram's head affront Gold, detailed Yellow.  Attached above, a Black scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Gold border inscribed "WORTH COUNTY" in Gold letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) in width.

Symbolism
The school colors are black and Gold (yellow).  The school's mascot is the ram. The strong and tenacious ram represents the cadets' high regard for individualism combined with strong leadership.

Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a shield blazoned:  Quarterly Sable, by a cross diminished, in the first quarter a knights' helmet in profile Or, in the second quarter an open book of knowledge surmounted by a mullet Argent, in the third quarter a torch of enlightenment bendwise sinister of the second, in the fourth quarter a Ram's head couped at the neck of the second.  Attached below the shield a Black a triparted scroll inscribed "WORTH RAMS COUNTY" in Black letters.  

Symbolism
Black and gold (yellow) are the school colors.  The ram is the school's mascot.  The shield shape and knight's helmet signifies honor and proud lineage.  The book symbolizes knowledge, scholastics and academic challenges.  The torch represents enlightenment through individualism combined with strong leadership.  The ram's head symbolizes the strength and tenacity of the cadets.
