Description/Blazon
On a yellow disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall a yellow demi-cavalier issuant from base and garbed blue and vested with a white sash bearing four blue links of chain and grasping in his hands a blue sword with yellow hilt all within the inscription "GREENBRIER WEST HIGH SCHOOL" in blue letters.

Symbolism
Blue and gold (yellow) are the school colors.  The cavalier is the school's mascot and reflects the cadets' dedication to school, community, and county.  The links of chain denote the four junior high schools that provide students to Greenbrier High School.

Background
The shoulder Sleeve insignia was approved on 24 September 1996.  (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-521)
