On a black and teal vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom, displaying 3/16 (.48 cm) diagonal band from upper left to lower right, and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border, the head and shoulder profile of a jaguar in gray and black. Attached above the rectangle a teal blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border inscribed "EAST LEE" in gray letters. Attached below the rectangle a teal blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border inscribed "COUNTY" in gray letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width.
The school colors are teal, black and silver gray. The jaguar is the school's mascot and symbolizes the cadets' readiness for battle, fearlessness, and courage. The cadets demonstrate perseverance as they strive for excellence in academics, the arts and athletics. East Lee County is a Comprehensive High School offering students access to all traditional high school programs, with the option of enrolling in one of five career academies. They are designed to introduce students to a variety of career choices, along with the basic skills required for success within those fields. The five academies are: Academy of Building Construction, Academy of Engineering and Manufacturing Technology, Academy of Business, Finance, Information Technology and Marketing, Academy of Medical and Biotechnology, and the Academy of Public Service.
