Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a red disc 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter edged with a 1/8 (.32 cm) inch yellow border, consisting of an inner red disc 1 9/16 inches (3.97 cm) in diameter bearing a yellow hawk's head and wing issuing from dexter detailed black within a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) black border. Around the 1/16 (.16 cm) black border, a red band inscribed "HARDAWAY HIGH SCHOOL" at top and "R.O.T.C." at bottom all in yellow letters.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized on 13 June 1968. It was amended to add subdued colors and metric dimensions on 16 January 1991. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-147)
