Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
 A shield-shaped emblem 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width overall, blazoned:  Gules, two bars bretessed Argent, overall a mounted knight traversed charging upon a horse harnessed and with trappings Sable, all within a diminished bordure of the last.  Attached to chief a Red scroll inscribed "HARKER" in Black letters and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border.  Attached to base a Red scroll inscribed "HEIGHTS" in Black letters and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border.

Symbolism
 Red, white and black are the school colors.  The embattled counter embattled background refers to the curriculum the school offers its students.  The mascot is a knight, depicted here on the horseback charging and describes the students' commitment to the school community.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Gules divided per pale and per chevron; first an unfurled parchment debruised by a quill pen bendwise feather to chief, second a winged foot and third a harp all Argent.  Enveloping the shield, a White scroll turned Black arcing in chief and inscribed "PRIDE (star symbol) COURAGE" in Silver letters with the Silver outline of a star positioned between the words.  Arcing at the base, the White scroll is inscribed "INTEGRITY" in Silver letters.

Symbolism
Red, white and black are the school colors.  The shield represents the commitment to a full education with the triparted sections describing scholastics, athletics and the arts.  The scroll imparts the school motto and the star is the symbol of the state.
