A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Quarterly, Azure and Argent. In first quarter a torch of knowledge bendwise, in second a key bendwise sinister, in third a wheel bendwise sinister, and in fourth a scroll bendwise Or. Attached above, the shield a Blue scroll inscribed "KNOWLEDGE"; attached below, a Blue scroll inscribed "IMAGINATION", all in Gold letters.
Blue and white are the school colors. The torch of knowledge represents education; the key signifies education as the key to the cadets' futures; the wheel represents progress; the scroll/diploma represents success and accomplishment of the goals of the cadets in
academic and community life.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 16 March 1994.
