Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a Green vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom  edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border  charged with two lightning bolts crossed in saltire Or, surmounted by a dragon head Proper affront of the first, eyed Argent, helmet of the third, spiked of the fourth.  Attached above, a Yellow scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border inscribed "LIBERTY HS" in Black letters.  Attached below, a Yellow scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border inscribed "DRAGONS" in Black letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 3/8 inches (6.03 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Forest green and gold are the school colors.  The dragon is the school's mascot and reflects the strength, courage, and fortitude of the cadet's as they strive for excellence in academics. The colors green and gold traditionally symbolize endurance and honor; both qualities required in leadership and military training.

Description/Blazon
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2. 86 cm) in height overall consisting of a horizontal rectangle with rounded corners charged with a helmet  emitting lightning bolts from dexter and sinister sides to chief.  Attached above the rectangle, a green scroll inscribed "LIBERTY HS" in gold letters.  Attached below the rectangle a green scroll inscribed "DRAGONS" in gold letters.
