Purple and gold are the schools colors. Purple signifies the abundance of knowledge the cadet receives in his or her training. Gold is symbolic of virtue, which every member of the battalion must strive for. The panther is the mascot of Camden High School. The panther is shown stalking through the grass and embodies the same determination shown by cadets of the Panther Battalion.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 25 February 2011. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-940)
