Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a rectangular shield-shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border, blazoned as follows:  Surmounting three pales Gules, Argent, Azure a winged lion passant reversed Or above the Roman Numeral X in point Sable. Attached above the shield a Gold scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border inscribed "VICENZA H.S." in black letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width.

Symbolism
 The school colors are black and gold.  The red, white and blue stripes reflect patriotism.  The winged lion is the symbol of the region of Italy (Veneto) where the school is located. The Roman Numeral "X" signifies this unit is the Tenth Cadet Battalion.
