Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield shaped embroidered item arched at top and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) White border, blazoned as follows: Per bend Gules and Azure, a lightning bolt issuant from dexter chief to sinster base Argent, in chief three mullets of the third.  Attached above the shield a Blue scroll inscribed "HARALSON COUNTY" in White letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
 Red, white and blue are the school colors of the Haralson County High School Strike Force Battalion.  The lightning bolt alludes to the unit name, Strike Force.  The lightning flash is also symbolic of the tremendous work ethic in athletics and academics that every Strike Force cadet must maintain.  Three stars represent the mission statement of Haralson County High School, one star for each:  "MOTIVATEEDUCATEGRADUATE".  The white border is the emblematic of honor and excellence.
