On a shield shaped embroidered device edged with a 1/8 inch Black border, blazoned as follows: Tierced in pairle Argent (Silver Gray), of the first edged Azure and of the second, a plate fimbriated Vert, charged with a mullet of the first, garnished Sable throughout, bearing a stylized image of a seagull volant diversely from sinister to dexter of the first garnished of the fourth. Attached above the shield a Silver Gray scroll each side slanted inward inscribed "ISLANDERS" in Black letters. Attached on the side of the shield a V' shaped arched Silver Gray scroll, inscribed "TEXAS A&M" on the left and "CORPUS CHRISTI" on the right, in Black letters, all letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 7/8 inches (7.30 cm) in width.
Blue, green and gold are the colors of the University. The school mascot the Islanders is derived from the University being located on Ward Island. The shield split in three divisions signifies the history of the UCC campus, hurricane Celia which damaged the University in 1970, and the expansion of academic colleges transforming education in 2005. The seagull placed upon the Texas star with a green ring represents the institutional seal.
