Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a black disc 3 1/2  inches (8.89 cm) in diameter overall, an orange Bengal Tiger head, detailed black, white and red, facing viewer, encircled by a orange designation band inscribed "OTTAWA HIILLS" at top and "BENGALS" at the bottom in black letters; all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border.

Symbolism
Orange and black are the schools colors.  The Bengal Tiger is the school's mascot, representing intelligence and power.  The students can readily identify with their mascot and the attributes it denotes in their pursuit of academic as well as athletic excellence. 

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 9 February 2011.  (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-932)
