Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield shaped embroidered item arched convexly at top and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border; blazoned as follows: Vert, a plate throughout superimposed by the silhouette of a howling wolf's head issuant from base facing sinister Sable.  Attached above the shield a White arched scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border inscribed "CORDOVA" in Black letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 3/8 inches (8.57 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Black, forest green and white are the school colors.  The wolf is the school's mascot.  The wolf denotes one who is courageous, gallant, fierce and dangerous to attack.  The moon symbolizes serene power over the mundane actions.
