Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a white rectangular device arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) silver gray border an eagle in flight detailed silver gray, head to upper right, tail to lower left, with displayed wings, body and beak navy blue, head and tail white.  Attached above the rectangle a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) silver gray border inscribed "OHIO COUNTY H.S." in blue letters.  Attached below the rectangle a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) silver gray border inscribed "EAGLES" in blue letters.  The overall dimension is 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Navy blue and white are the school colors.  The school mascot is an Eagle, also our national symbol, signifies pride, strength, excellence, loyalty and optimism.  Traditionally the colors blue and white represent thinking and truth and discretion and maturity respectively.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Azure, on a pile Argent, three piles of the field, overall an eagle in flight head to chief of the first, beaked of the like, head and tail of the second. Below the shield, a dark blue tripartite scroll inscribed "O.C." on the first fold, "EAGLES" on the middle fold, and "H.S." on the last fold all in base metal letters.
