Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield-shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) White border blazoned as follows:  "Azure, an eagle's head erased in profile facing sinister Argent, eyed and beaked Or, garnished Sable."  Attached above the shield a Blue scroll embattled in base edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) White border inscribed "CHANDLER PARK" in White letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Michigan blue and white are the school colors.  Blue represents thinking and truth; two attributes the cadets pursue in their education and training.  White represents perfection; something the cadets seek to achieve in everything they do.  The eagle is the school's mascot and represents courage, strength and wisdom.  The students identify with their mascot in their pursuit of academic as well as athletic achievements.

Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  "Azure, a cross of chains voided of the field, in the first a lyre, in the second an atom, in the third a winged foot, in the fourth a torch enflamed bendwise sinister all Argent (Silver Gray)."  Crest: "The head of an eagle in profile facing sinister Argent (Silver Gray)."  Attached below the shield, a Blue scroll inscribed "CHANDLER PARK ACADEMY" in Silver letters.
